We welcome links to the Leave No Trace website: www.LNT.org by non partner groups. You are free to establish a hypertext link to this site so long as the link does not state or imply that you support or sponsor the Leave No Trace Center for Outdoor Ethics.
The Leave No Trace Center for Outdoor Ethics cannot provide a link to your site unless you are a Leave No Trace Corporate Partner. This policy ensures that we treat all of our supporters fairly.

The Leave No Trace Center for Outdoor Ethics respects your right to privacy. We will never sell or give away your email address or phone number. If you become a member of the Leave No Trace Center for Outdoor Ethics, your name and snail mail address may be exchanged with other cycling companies and organizations. We won't share your email address or phone number. Members may opt out of such membership list exchanges by contacting the Leave No Trace Center for Outdoor Ethics directly.
Our web server automatically collects limited information about your computer's connection to the Internet, including your IP address, when you visit our site. (Your IP address is a number that lets computers attached to the Internet know where to send you data — such as the web pages you view.) Your IP address does not identify you personally. We use this information to deliver our web pages to you upon request and to measure traffic.
Cookies are used for online polls and forums only. We do not track individual use except for those two items.
If we need to change our privacy policy at some point in the future, we'll post the changes before they take effect.

The staff of the Leave No Trace Center for Outdoor Ethics does its best to ensure that information we post to this site is both timely and accurate. But the news changes over time and reports that were accurate when posted quickly become, well, old news. Though we may post follow-up reports, and may continue to provide access to the original report, as in an archive of news stories, for example, we don't go back and change the original report to reflect new developments. If you're looking for the most recent information on a given subject, and not the history of how the story unfolded, be sure you're not looking at an out of date report.
