Leave No Trace Trainer Course | Curt Gowdy State Park, WY

Where: Hynds Lodge, Curt Gowdy State Park, 24 miles West of Cheyenne, WY on Happy Jack Road

When: October 15-16, 2010 6:00 PM Friday – 6:00PM Saturday

Intended Audience: Open to everyone, age 14 & older

Cost: $25 Includes meals and Leave No Trace Trainer

Description: Upon successful completion of this Leave No Trace Trainer course each participant will be an Leave No Trace Trainer. Those who complete the course are equipped to:

Understand, demonstrate, and teach minimum impact techniques to friends,family, their sponsoring organization, and other community groups.
Lead a discussion on outdoor ethics and help others explore their own personal outdoor ethic.
Scouts are qualified to fill the new Leave No Trace Trainer junior leadership position.

Gear: Camping Gear (tent, sleeping gear, personals, eating utensils) and notetaking materials
