Greetings everybody! I am very excited to be Wisconsin’s new State Advocate. I am centrally located in God’s Country up in Wausau, WI. Even though I am a “new kid on the block,” I am looking forward to sharing my experiences and spreading the word along to everyone who has an ear. Currently, I just started my college education at the University of Wisconsin, Marathon County, through which I am double majoring in Wildlife Ecology and Education.
My training with Leave No Trace includes taking a Trainer Course in 2008 and a Master Educator’s Course this past October.
My first goal is to form a Wisconsin Council’s Outdoor Ethics Advocate Coalition and to form a close knit group through which we can reach out to as many different youth as possible. I personally feel that reaching out to our youth is the best way to promote Outdoor Ethics in our communities and to help preserve our great land for future generations.
