Calendar | Events

LEAVE NO TRACE Trainer Course | Valley of Fire State Park

When: March 6,2010 8am to March 7, 2010 5pm.

Where: Valley of Fire State Park, NV. Group Use Site #3

Cost: $6.00 per vehicle park entrance fee.

Description: This program promotes skills and ethics to support the sustainable use of wildlands and natural areas. This is a two day course with one night of camping. After completing this course you will
become a Leave No Trace Trainer and will receive a certificated from the Leave No Trace Center for Outdoor Ethics in Boulder, CO.

Gear: Camping gear (tent, sleeping bag ect.) You will need to provide your own food, there are two large BBQ grills, but you will need to bring you own camp stove if needed. We also will be hiking so make sure to bring a day pack and good hiking boots.

Instructor: Amber Heman, Park Ranger II, LNT Master Educator
